Wireless positioning using low-power low-cost tags
Autoren
Mehr zum Buch
Wireless local positioning systems are used in applications such as pedestrian protection. This thesis treats different aspects of positioning systems to reduce their complexity and improve their acceptability. Concepts of asymmetrical system architectures reducing the cost and power consumption of the tag while preserving the position accuracy are proposed and verified using experimental setups. Furthermore, the combination of distance and angle estimation allowing a single-point localization with an improved accuracy is suggested and proven through simulations and measurements.
