Yves Beauchamp is an English army officer who has survived the Great War. Awarded the MC he finds himself back in England, appointed a King¿s Messenger, a driver delivering intelligence between the embassies of Paris, Berlin and London. And when his intelligence of a plot against Hitler is cynically ignored he discovers that the deceptions of 1919 have become the fatal delusions of 1938 . . . At the end of his long and turbulent life, Yves finds a confidant who is drawn into his extraordinary story and, once again, he is compelled to intervene as another avoidable tragedy comes to light.
