This up-to-date volume comprises papers presented at a conference sponsored by Ciba-Geigy in Portsmouth in the summer of 1986. It follows Ross's previous volume of 1984, Pediatric Perspectives on Epilepsy. Covers all major aspects of adolescent epilepsy in informative, lively presentations: epidemiology, the latest therapies (when to treat with drugs, selecting the right one, cognitive function and behavior, and the implications of drug treatment and withdrawal), ambulatory monitoring, non-convulsive status epilepticus, and photosensitivity.
