Les Murray, born in 1938 in Nabiac, New South Wales, is a prominent Australian poet of Scottish descent. He studied languages, worked as a translator, and lived as a freelance writer in Sydney. This collection features selected works from 'The Biplane Houses' and 'Taller when Prone,' along with two new pieces.
