The Double Life of Anna Day

Anna thinks Charlie is the man for her, and wants the world to know it. He seems just as smitten, except for one problem; he will not introduce her to his mother, Meredith, saying they won't get on. Despite several arguments and ultimatums, he refuses to budge - until he is sent on a business trip to San Francisco and Anna decides to take matters into her own hands. Although Anna has never met Meredith, she knows she lives in Dulwich, and that she likes art, tennis, and women who are punctual and smart. And so Anna reinvents herself to be the perfect daughter-in-law, and begins her three-month military-style charm offensive to win Meredith over, which is full of fraught moments, funny incidents and a showdown when Charlie gets home.
