This festschrift was produced to honor Dr. Carl Baudenbacher, president of the Court of Justice of the European Free Trade Association and professor at the University of St. Gallen. As a writer, a university teacher, and a judge, Dr. Baudenbacher has helped to shape modern economic law and has exerted influence on its development in Europe and beyond.
