Apparently the Afghan Hound was recently allowed to register in the Kennel Club at the time of this book, so there was a big brouhaha...and this book had to be written! Chapters on the history of the breed, before and after the 2nd World War (?), breeding or showing them, conformation, overseas (?) and if something goes wrong. Lots of photos and illustrations. Rare and recommended.
