Zet and the art of online shopping. The book, Zet Rack, is an autonomous outcome of the eponymous exhibition project, which we realised together with the artist Martin Zet and the architect Tomáš Svoboda at the beginning of 2022 at the NEVAN CONTEMPO Gallery in Prague. However, Martin's almost obsessive accumulation of various products, commodities and goods containing the word "Zet" in their name had started about three years earlier and therefore extended through many a lockdown. After all, it was during the pandemic that the vast majority of us had to rethink our relationship with the Internet and online shopping. Zet, however, appropriated "googling" and "online shopping" as a kind of creative method. In the book, whose conception and final form was also co-authored by graphic designer Marek Fanta and photographer Eva Rybářová, the other contexts and levels of meaning of his actions are unravelled in a series of texts by authors addressed by the artist, who hold some vastly different positions-entirely in the spirit of Zet's open and participatory approach to creation.
