This revised edition of a national bestseller has been updated in all walks of life - entertainers, actors, writers, scientists, sportsmen and women, architects, business people, artists, engineers, bankers - the list is long, and dates from antiquity to the present day. Very much the kind of book you can dip into, for a taste of Scotland's greatest and best, and most notorious, this book will also sustain debate about who, why, what, where and when. For a small country, Scotland has produced a remarkable range of talented individuals in all areas, together with enduring characters, rogues and heroes.
