Since before World War II, toy and game manufacturers have sought to cash in on the popularity of children's films, radio, and TV programs by producing toys related to them. This survey offers both collectors and potential collectors a guide to what is out there, from Pinky and Perky puppets and Thunderbirds spaceships to the huge number of toys and games that have been spawned by the James Bond and Star Wars films. Arranged in chronological order by decade, the chapters outline the great collectibles from the 1960's, 70's, 80's, and even predictions for the future.
