A whirlwind romance with a photographer is clouded by unclear boundaries and cheerful hypocrisy. A schoolgirl wrestles with emotions while waiting for her long-absent mother. The news of a hunter's death sends ripples through his family, impacting his cousin's fragile relationship. An office worker unexpectedly joins a lost grandmother on a pilgrimage. A woman returns to Jamaica, confronting her sister who stayed behind, stirring insecurities and unresolved wounds. Lastly, a family grapples with grief, while the only Black girls in school explore what it means to transition from girlhood to womanhood.
