Following a life-altering leukemia diagnosis in 2005, Chris Ayers embarked on a year-long artistic journey by creating a sketchbook called The Daily Zoo. Each day, he illustrated a different animal, showcasing a range of styles and critters, from playful pandas to fierce hyenas. This project not only served as a creative outlet but also as a celebration of life and resilience. Alongside his artwork, Ayers shares reflections on his cancer experience and artistic inspirations, motivating readers to explore their own creativity, regardless of skill level.
