Alfonso López Michelsen war ein kolumbianischer Politiker, Anwalt und Journalist. López Michelsen war von 1974 bis 1978 Präsident von Kolumbien. Sein Vater, Alfonso López Pumarejo, war ebenfalls Präsident von Kolumbien von 1934 bis 1938 und erneut von 1942 bis 1945. Er starb am frühen Morgen des 11. Juli 2007 in Bogotá an einem Herzinfarkt.
