In der kosmopolitischen Handelsstadt Kibwe am Rande des Mwangibeckens werden unschuldige Leute von einem furchtbaren Fluch getroffen: Die Schlickpest lässt sie zu bösartigen Schlicken schmelzen! Die Helden befinden sich im Herzen dieses schleimigen Fluches und könnten als einzige imstande sein, jene uralte Magie zu finden, die zum Brechen des Fluches benötigt wird. Auf der Spur der Ursprünge des Fluches besuchen sie Kibwes geschäftige Marktplätze und Schreine und müssen zudem herausfinden, welches Rolle das finstere Aspiskonsortium in der Verschwörung spielt. Die von den Helden enthüllten Mysterien könnten für Kibwe eine neue Blütezeit des Wohlstandes bedeuten – sofern die Bewohner der Stadt denn den Fluch überleben… Die Schlickpest ist ein kampagnenunabhängiges Abenteuer für die Zweite Edition des Pathfinderrollenspiels und auf nichtmenschliche Charaktere der 5.
