Roberta Leigh, die auch unter den Namen Rachel Lindsay, Rozella Lake und Janey Scott veröffentlichte, gehörte zu den ersten Liebesromanautorinnen, die starke, karriereorientierte Heldinnen schufen, die sich nicht vom Helden beherrschen ließen.
