On the exuberant oeuvre of a little-known Swiss abstractionist Swiss artist Josef Herzog (1939-98) made watercolors with surreal, clearly outlined planar configurations and ink drawings with labyrinthine "all-over" cellular structures. This publication accompanies a Herzog retrospective at Kunstmuseum Lucerne and surveys his work from the 1960s on.
