Three guys in their thirties have something in common. Their children all go to the same school. One day a tragic event leads to them having to deal with a lurking aftermath which draws them into each other's lives and causes them to rethink their attitudes to just about everything. The children tell the second part of this story, ten years after the initial events. The dust seems to have settled until one of them uncovers information that throws everything back into chaos. The third part... well that will have to wait.

- Health care associated infections affect between 5% and 30% of patients. The associated burden of disease is extremely high and is a significant drain on health-sector resources and households. Ensuring safe environmental health conditions in health care can reduce the transmission of health care associated infections. The interventions provide an educational opportunity to promote safe environments that are relevant to the population at large, and thereby also contribute to safe environments encountered at home. This is especially relevant to the trend towards increased home-based care as witnessed in both the developing and developed countries. This document provides guidance on essential environmental health standards required for health care in medium and low-resource countries and supports the development and implementation of national policies. These guidelines have been written for use by health managers and planners, architects, urban planners, water and sanitation staff, clinical and nursing staff careers, and other health-care providers and health promoters.
- Have you ever felt like you're being watched? It's as if someone is constantly breathing down your neck, just far enough away that when you turn around they are not within view. Drew and Siobhan know this feeling well. It all began when a bike ride led them to a chance encounter with an aged, mysterious house at the bottom of a hill. Their lives changed immensely when a text threat arrived and some unusual black birds started dropping by to torment them both. Little did Drew know, but his family had a strange connection to the house and he found himself drawn to it, as its image lingered in his subconscious. Siobhan was the best friend he always relied on and it soon emerged that his feelings for her were far more than just platonic. Could he break the spell conjured by the house and how would he cope with a death in the family? Time would definitely create more questions than answers.

 - Extensive experience shows that poor design and management of water systems in buildings can cause outbreaks of disease. The types of building, water uses, disease outcomes and individuals affected are diverse. The health risks are preventable and can be readily controlled. However, evidence from outbreak detection suggests that the overall trend is increasing. With increasing global urbanization, the overall exposure of the human population to poorly designed or managed water systems in buildings is increasing rapidly. Consequently, the risk of disease outbreaks is also increasing. Actions to reduce the risk of disease should be considered a public health priority. This document provides guidance for managing water supplies in buildings where people may drink water; use water for food preparation; wash, shower, swim or use water for other recreational activities; or be exposed to aerosols produced by water-using devices, such as cooling towers. These uses occur in a variety of buildings, such as hospitals, schools, child and aged care, medical and dental facilities, hotels, apartment blocks, sport centres, commercial buildings and transport terminals. The target audience for this document includes the full range of "actors" who influence the overall safe management of building water supplies. In particular, it is directed at those who design, construct, manage, operate, maintain and regulate building water systems.
