Válka V této hře, volně variující témata Sofoklova posledního dramatu Oidipus na Kólonu, rezonuje násilí a brutalita války v Jugoslávii na začátku devadesátých let minulého století. Válka líčí „propastně hlubokou katastrofu ve společnosti, ze které se stal její vlastní protiklad, ne-společnost“. V skrytu Ubíjející předměstský život středních vrstev, který se pohybuje mezi alkoholem, nevěrou a vypnutými mobily. Drama odhaluje citové omrzliny a potlačované touhy několika partnerských dvojic, jejichž osudy se vzájemně protínají. O lásce Intimní prostory rozchodů a nejistot. Spíše než láskou se autor zabývá jejím nedostatkem, její pomíjivostí. A naplněním či ztroskotáním nadějí, které do vztahu přináší vytoužené dítě.

Divadelní program ND k úvodní hře Norénovy trilogie Smrt tříd, líčící osudy stockholmských bezdomovců, obsahuje pouze informace o autorovi a jeho tvorbě. Česká premiéra hry proběhla dne 11. května 2005 v suterénu Národního divadla.

Le couple se fonde sur un rapport de forces bien connu : la plupart des phrases qu'ils prononcent contient une attaque plus ou moins sous-entendue, une provocation qui est une invitation au conflit. Ainsi, le carrousel commence à tourner, parfois lentement, parfois vite, mais jamais assez lentement pour qu'un des personnages puisse le quitter, ni assez vite pour que le carrousel se détruise lui-même. Le malheur est que ces relations perdurent, que Frank et Katarina, tout comme Jenna et Tomas qui habitent l'étage d'en dessous, sont conscients de leur état, mais qu'ils n'ont pas assez de force pour y remédier et espèrent vainement une aide extérieure.
