Jako by Johnu Constantinovi nestačilo, že ve vězení zažil těžké časy, pokouší se uchlácholit své svědomí tím, že se vydává do Whyllisz za rodinou Richarda „Klikaře“ Fermina - muže, na jehož sebevraždě má svůj podíl.
