Číst její texty není nic příjemného, jsou kousavé, ironické, sžíravé a brutálně upřímné. Ač s jejími názory nemusíme souhlasit, nemůžeme jim upřít naléhavost a sílu přinutit nás se nad nimi alespoň zamyslet, v lepším případě zkusit přehodnotit některé své postoje. Sympatické je, že se Lydia Lunch nestaví do role poslední spravedlivé, ale že i ona sama se snaží přijít věcem na kloub - byť za cenu zklamání a bolesti.
