"Today We Have a Wonderful Bottom" and Other Plays is a substantial testimony about the bearers of our time. It attempts to present the reality of the years of unraveling, seasons of sanctions, times of wars, bombings, and the era of the wonderful bottom through archetypally selected characters who are not role models but are our fate. This absurd image, rounded by continuous tensions of all kinds, truly forms a troubling mosaic of the society's normalcy. For it is hard to say that history and sociology have played such a long unfunny joke on anyone as they have on us. In the intention to forget who we were just yesterday, we are increasingly struggling to become different, better. Bewildered and disoriented, we have given up on ourselves. What remains is to remain silent in front of the builders of a grotesque reality or to flee into oblivion. If it is not already too late.
