The first publication by "Pazyryk", the German rug society founded in 1991. There are nineteen serious papers sumitted by the following : Ahlheim, Bohmer, Bruhl & Doirfler, Buddeberg, Diehr, Ingrami, Jansen, Klose, Krausse, Kreutz, Kummerer, von Markov, Muller, Schienerl, Sindermann, Suriano, Tischer, Wackenrah and Wild. Ingrami's and Suriano's offerings, and the preface by Robert Pinner, were in English. All the rest was in German. The text pages are illustrated, and there are innumerable footnotes. In addition there are 36 pages of colour plates (110 pictures in all) in the middle. This is a new book which, other than a few marks on the front cover, is in mint condition.
