Für jede Menge komischer Situationen ist gesorgt. So ist die ganze Klasse überzeugt, dass die rote Stelle an Julians Bein nur von einem Haifisch- oder mindestens einem Piranha-Angriff stammen kann. Klar, dass keines der Kinder mehr ins Schwimmbecken will, was wiederum den Sportlehrer zum Verzweifeln bringt. Ein anderes Mal sind es Knochen, die die Kinder im Schulgarten finden. Die Aufregung ist groß – das müssen Dinosaurierknochen sein! Die ganze Klasse hofft, als große Entdecker gefeiert zu werden und in die Geschichtsbücher einzugehen. Wild entschlossen setzen sich die Kinder über alle Regeln hinweg um die Sache aufzuklären. Erst als sich Daisy, der Hund des Hausmeisters, ebenfalls für die Knochen interessiert, dämmert den Kindern, wie die Knochen in den Garten gekommen sein könnten. Die durchgängig bebilderten Geschichten bieten nicht nur spannende Abenteuer, es gibt auch jede Menge zu lachen!

Und steht fünf Minuten später pitschnass und wie der sprichwörtlich begossene Pudel vor der Klasse. Ein anderes Mal sorgt ein Schuh für Aufregung. Milo behauptet, dass sein Turnschuh magische Kräfte habe und tritt den Beweis auch sogleich an. Die Kinder gehen der Sache auf den Grund.
