1607: The whole continent of North America still belongs to the natives, but a small group of European adventurers has just founded a tiny settlement on the coast of Virginia. Without the help of the Powhatan tribe, Captain Smith and his men would never have survived a terribly hard winter. Pocahontas, the teenage daughter of the chief, becomes the white men's best friend. She eventually gets marrieed to one of the English colonists, so peaceful co-existence of the two cultures seems to be possible.
