In her project Relocating a Structure. German Pavilion 2022, 59th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia, Maria Eichhorn examines the eventful history of the German Pavilion. Eichhorn's initial idea to relocate the German Pavilion for the duration of the Biennale and then to faithfully reassemble it on its original site were accompanied by an analysis of the actual physical structure of the pavilion, which principally consists of two buildings: the Bavarian Pavilion built in 1909 and the extensions carried out by the Nazis in 1938, as seen today. The artist had the foundations of the pavilion excavated and layers of plaster removed from its walls to expose the joins between the earlier structure and the remodelled building. This comprehensive publication is one of the components of her contribution.

The first definitive account of the editions of the celebrated German postwar abstractionist, from objects to lithographs Beloved German abstractionist Blinky Palermo (1943-77) is famed for his large fabric and metal pictures as well as his objects and installations. Less well-known are the works he created in screen prints and offset prints, lithographs, objects and a template for painting. In their entirety, these works not only reflect Palermo's development from the 1960s to his early death in 1977, but also show how the artist deliberately expanded his work with the possibilities of technical reproduction.Updating a long unavailable catalogue raisonné, this volume, with the artist's work Flipper printed on the cover, collects Palermo's complete editions, including his collaborations with Imi Knoebel and Gerhard Richter, along with detailed information and commentary on those editions by Palermo expert and gallerist, Fred Jahn. Also included is a solo exhibition timeline.

Der Katalog mit Beiträgen, die aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven das Schaffen Mitchells wie auch ihre Verwurzelung in der amerikanischen und europäischen Kunstgeschichte erörtern, wird in Zusammenarbeit mit der Joan Mitchell Foundation, New York, herausgegeben. Anhand zahlreicher Dokumente, wie Briefe, Einladungen, Notizen, Fotografien aus dem Archiv der Joan Mitchell Foundation wird eine reich bebilderte Biografie erstellt.

Die Publikation begleitet die ersten institutionellen Einzelausstellungen der Amerikanerin Carol Bove (geb. 1971). Boves künstlerisches Schaffen ist Teil eines groß angelegten Projekts, bei dem sie sich auf die amerikanische Geschichte und Kunst der späten 60er bis frühen 70er Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts konzentriert. Ihr Interesse gilt dabei in gleicher Weise der Literatur, Architektur, Musik und Kunst, wie den einflussreichen und nachhaltigen gesellschaftlichen Veränderungen dieser Zeit, wie sie unter anderem in der Frauen- und Friedensbewegung zum Ausdruck kamen. In ihren atmosphärisch aufgeladenen Installationen kombiniert die Künstlerin, die sich selbst als eine Archäologin bezeichnet, autobiografische Erlebnisse bzw. solche ihrer Mutter mit allgemeingültigen sozialen Gegebenheiten und überführt sie in neue Beziehungssysteme.
