Desire's Prize

Set in 1347, the story follows Alaun de Montisfryth, a nobleman tasked with securing the Welsh border after the fall of Calais. His journey takes an unexpected turn when he attends a tournament hosted by the de Versallet family, where he encounters Eloise, the sharp-tongued widow ruling the castle. Despite their initial clash, a complex attraction develops between them. Montisfryn is compelled by royal orders to marry, while Eloise is determined to remain single, leading to a battle of wills filled with desire and challenge.
