Aus dem Leben gegriffen Ein tolles Buch, das mich von Anfang an in seinen Bann gezogen hat. Protagonisten die so greifbar sind. Direkt aus dem alltäglichen Leben gegriffen, mit ganz normalen Problemen, so wie sie jeder kennt und der ein oder andere selbst schonmal erlebt hat. Penny ist geplagt von Selbstzweifeln. Sie ist gefangen in einem Hamsterrad. Rennt einem Mann hinterher, der sich nicht wirklich auf sie einlassen will. Ein Job, der ihre keine Freude bereitet. Und doch schafft sie es nicht, das alles hinter sich zu lassen. Sie hat das Gefühl auf der Stelle zu treten. Alle rund um sie scheinen voran zu kommen in ihrem Leben. Alles zu erreichen, was sie sich erträumen, nur sie selbst nicht. Sie schleppt sich durch ihr Leben und immer mehr hat sie das Gefühl, dass sie Glück einfach nicht verdient hat. Mir gefällt der psychologische Aspekt hinter der Geschichte. Es sind Themen, die viele selbst aus ihrem eigenen Leben kennen. Daher konnte ich mich auch so gut in Penny hineinversetzen. Ich habe auch viel für mich selbst aus dem Buch mitgenommen. Dinge, die man ganz leicht in seinen eigenen Alltag integrieren kann. Der angenehme Schreibstil macht es leicht, in die Geschichte hineinzufinden. Eine ganz klare Leseempfehlung.
