Nachdem ich das erste Buch verschlungen hatte, konnte ich es kaum erwarten, die Fortsetzung zu lesen. Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht! Die Geschichte ist zwar recht lang und gespickt mit emotionalen Momenten und Ereignissen, aber jeder einzelne Moment ist es wert, erlebt zu werden. Die Liebe zwischen Tatiana und Alexander ist von einer bittersüßen Melancholie geprägt. Trotz der unerbittlichen Härten des Krieges, der Gefangenschaft und der schmerzhaften Trennung finden sie irgendwie zueinander zurück. Ihre Reise ist ein Beweis für die Kraft der Liebe und die Beharrlichkeit des menschlichen Geistes. Die Geschichte zeigt, dass man immer dran glauben sollte, egal wie unwahrscheinlich es ist!
