Umfangreiches Adressenmaterial und Infos für jeden Geschmack und Geldbeutel bieten die Kapitel zu Essen, Ausgehen, Aktivitäten, Unterhaltung, Shoppen, Schlafen. Elke Nibbrig schrieb zur 1. deutschen Ausgabe (BA 12/08): "Faktenreich, interessant und locker geschrieben in der reihenüblichen, handbuchartigen Aufmachung mit Detailplänen ... ". Der Stadtplan ist in dieser Ausgabe eingeklebt. Ältere Auflagen sollten wegen der vollständigen Umarbeitung ausgetauscht werden. Neben den Stadtführern von Andrea Gorys: "Istanbul" (DuMont-Reise-Taschenbuch; ID-A 23/13), Gabriele Tröger (M.
