This work explores the intersection of anti-Blackness, misogyny, patriarchy, and capitalism in the lives of Black women and girls in the United States. Through personal narratives and incisive analysis, historian Treva B. Lindsey examines the violence faced by Black women and girls and their relentless pursuit of justice.
