Sarah J. Maas liefert mit diesem Band ein gewaltiges, emotionales Finale der ersten Trilogie. Die Geschichte knüpft nahtlos an die vorherigen Ereignisse an. Die Bedrohung für Prythian erreicht ihren Höhepunkt, und Feyre muss alles riskieren, um ihre Welt zu retten. Gemeinsam mit ihren Verbündeten stellt sie sich nicht nur äußeren Feinden, sondern auch inneren Konflikten, die ihre Beziehungen und ihr Vertrauen auf die Probe stellen. Was mir gefallen hat: Die Autorin verbindet hier epische Fantasy-Action mit intensiven Charaktermomenten. Besonders beeindruckend war, wie stark Feyre und andere Figuren gewachsen sind – ihre Entscheidungen fühlen sich bedeutend und nachvollziehbar an. Die Schlacht-Szenen sind bildgewaltig und voller Spannung, und gleichzeitig gibt es stille, emotionale Augenblicke, die unter die Haut gehen. Persönliche Anmerkung: Der detailreiche Schreibstil macht die Welt unglaublich lebendig. Ich konnte mir jede Szene bildlich vorstellen. Für mich hatte das Buch genau die richtige Mischung aus Action, Emotion und politischem Spiel. Manchmal gibt es viele Informationen auf einmal, was für manche Leser*innen überwältigend sein könnte – ich persönlich fand es großartig. Fazit: Ein würdiger Abschluss der Trilogie, der mit Spannung, Gefühl und epischen Momenten begeistert. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die die Reihe bisher mochten.
