Zatím nejlepší Barryho román - jeho děj člověka uchvátí a nepustí doslova od první do poslední stránky. Proplétají se tu přípravy na obrovskou svatbu v Miami, záchrana napůl utopené Haiťanky z moře, útěk zamilovaného orangutana ze zoo, večírek s marihuanovými sušenkami, honička v autech a na pirátské lodi - na hlavního hrdinu Setha je toho opravdu hodně a čtenář mu prostě musí držet palce, aby zdárně vyřešil i ty nejzapeklitější situace. Vše je doprovázeno typickým Barryho humorem - zkrátka a dobře, kdo má Davea Barryho rád, ten by si tuhle knihu rozhodně neměl nechat ujít!!!

Děj románu začíná v New Jersey, ale postupně se rozvíjí po celém světě, když se jeho dva protagonisté, kultivovaný Horkman a obhroublý Peckerman, kteří jsou vinou shody neuvěřitelných náhod považováni za nebezpečné teroristy, snaží nejprve vysvětlit svou nevinu a později už jen utíkají před policií. Kromě policie prchají i před skutečnými arabskými teroristy, před medvědy v zoologické zahradě, tajně plují na zaoceánském parníku, útočí s kubánskými revolucionáři na vládní palác, krmí hladové somálce, přispívají k zániku Hamásu, z hledaných teroristů se mění v obdivované hrdiny a nakonec shodou dalších neuvěřitelných náhod dokonce kandidují na úřad amerického prezidenta. Vyprávění je čtivé a děj má rychlý spád, občas prokládaný typickými vtipnými barryovskými úvahami o věcech, které s hlavním dějem vůbec nesouvisejí, ale které si člověk vždycky s potěšením přečte. kdo zná Barryho dřívější díla, toho tato kniha určitě nezklame, a kdo Barryho nezná, ten může se seznamováním začít třeba právě u ní.
