Vitalizing a Corporation Space is a valuable resource in the working world with vast unrecognized and untapped potential. Deutsche Telekom AG, working with the communications agency Orange Council, has demonstrated that there is a different way. Within just a few months, its administrative headquarters in Bonn received a complete makeover. This book presents documentation of the project’s implementation around the key concepts of sustainability, disruption, and innovation. The title combines an allusion to an intensive care unit with the words “I see you.” The publication also proposes a fundamental reassessment of so-called administrative workspaces in the context of real estate markets, operational production flows, employee motivation, and corporate identity. As the images illustrate, the objects and installations as well as the architecture as a whole have a power to inspire broad audiences that is independent of specific corporate philosophies. With essays by Nils Büttner and Bernhard Zünkeler as well as a conversation between the architect Dagmar Ecken and the artist Amely Spötzl.

Die Ausstellung STUDIO untersucht verschiedene Interpretationen des Künstlerateliers im Werke des deutschen Malers Norbert Tadeusz (1940–2011), der häufig das Sujet des Ateliers thematisierte. Gleichzeitig versteht sich die Ausstellung als eine Art Einführung in einige Grundmotive und stilistische Merkmale im Oeuvre Tadeusz. Der 1940 geborene Maler wuchs in der Industriestadt Dortmund auf, wo er eine Ausbildung als Schaufensterdekorateur absolviert hatte, bevor er 1961 nach Düsseldorf – Dreh- und Angelpunkt der damaligen westdeutschen Kunstszene – zog. Fünf Jahre lang studierte er bei Joseph Beuys, mit dem er eine stürmische Freundschaft verband. Später wurde er selbst zum Professor ernannt und unterrichtete an verschiedenen namhaften Kunstakademien, u. a. in Düsseldorf, Karlsruhe, Berlin und Braunschweig. Das ESMoA ist das Geistesprodukt von Eva und Brian Sweeney. Sie ist Architektin und er Unternehmer – und gemeinsam sind sie leidenschaftliche Kunstsammler, die die Künste u. a. durch ihre private Kunstinitiative 'artlab21 foundation' in Los Angeles und Berlin fördern. Artlab21 foundation ist eine gemeinnützige Stiftung mit dem Zweck, sowohl Bildung durch Kunst als auch die Wertschätzung von Kunst zu fördern.
