Das Schöne bestürzt und bewegt uns, indem es als Absolutes ins Sichtbare einbricht; zugleich ist es der letzte Erlösungsweg, der uns nach dem Tod der Götter noch bleibt. Das chinesische Denken freilich hat nie „das Schöne“ abstrahiert und isoliert.
