Die Studienarbeit untersucht die gescheiterte Identitätsbildung des Protagonisten Georg Bendemann in Franz Kafkas Erzählung "Das Urteil". Im Fokus steht die Thematik der Identität, die oft mit Unsicherheit und Selbstzweifeln verbunden ist, insbesondere im Übergang ins Erwachsenendasein. Diese Fragestellung spiegelt die tiefgehenden Herausforderungen wider, mit denen junge Erwachsene konfrontiert sind, und zeigt auf, wie diese Thematik in der Literatur behandelt wird. Die Arbeit wurde im Rahmen eines Hauptseminars an der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg verfasst.
