The systematic review investigates the impact of arts programs on well-being and social inclusion, analyzing studies published from 2010 to 2020. It included six quantitative or mixed-method studies, revealing that three out of six showed significant improvements in social inclusion, while five demonstrated enhancements in well-being. However, the overall methodological quality of the studies was low, suggesting that while positive effects exist, the findings should be approached with caution.
Focusing on the alarming issue of violence by children against parents, this study examines recurrent physical, psychological, or economic abuse, excluding isolated incidents and those linked to mental health issues. Highlighting the significant number of reported cases in Spain, it aims to gather data on risk and protective factors to inform forensic psychological evaluations. The research underscores the complexity of this societal problem and seeks to enhance understanding and intervention strategies for child-parent violence.
