Il présente aussi les critiques communautaires de la théorie libérale et propose une interprétation de Rawls qui pourrait concilier liberté individuelle et égalité économique.

Die Arbeit gliedert sich in drei Kapitel: Das erste verfolgt J. Rawls' Argumentation zu Prinzipien, die Autonomie und menschliches Glück vereinen. Das zweite Kapitel behandelt kommunitaristische Kritik an der liberalen Theorie. Im dritten Kapitel wird eine Interpretation von Rawls' Theorie vorgestellt, die individuelle Freiheit und wirtschaftliche Gleichheit integriert.

Il presente lavoro è suddiviso in tre capitoli. Il primo cerca di seguire il filo conduttore dell'argomentazione di J. Rawls, che aspira a formulare principi fondamentali che siano costruttivisti e razionali nel senso kantiano dei principi che, da un lato, tengano conto dell'autonomia della personalità morale e, dall'altro, che siano anche in grado di rendere conto della felicità umana, cioè che abbiano a che fare con le preferenze empiriche delle persone interessate. Il secondo capitolo di questo lavoro consiste in una presentazione sintetica dei principali argomenti comunitari contro la teoria liberale in generale e, in particolare, contro la teoria di Rawls. Il terzo capitolo cerca di dimostrare che un'interpretazione adeguata della teoria di Rawls, che tenga conto di alcuni aspetti che Rawls sviluppa in modo molto più chiaro nelle sue opere successive, può permetterci di raggiungere un accordo su un problema che, a mio avviso, è al centro dell'intera discussione tra liberali e trovare una teoria politica che realizzi un'integrazione riuscita tra libertà individuale e uguaglianza economica.
