On her honeymoon in Egypt, Scarlett Morgue meets the goddess Taweret, inspiring her to create Sanctuary. Meanwhile, Greg Daniels must protect his new wife and his treasured possession from FSB agent Fyodor Ivanovich Vassiliev, who has his own plans for the Egg of Renen-utet, including kidnapping Greg's father figure. Fr Thomas Jones also angers Scarlett.
