They couldn't have become so embedded without help, help from someone in a position of power, someone that is at fault and has definitely crossed the line, the Fault Line.

When you board an elevator you do so as an act of faith. You have faith that when the doors open you'll be where you expect to be. When fourteen-year-old Jake and his dad exit the local mall's antique elevator things are subtly different. Jake is learning that he has the power to travel between realities. He has to stay alive long enough to figure out how to get back to his mom and not die along the way. He finds others that also have special abilities. The tension is high and the unseen forces at play make this an exciting action packed read. Fans of Terry Pratchett will thoroughly enjoy this fantastic adventure.
