Sie hat Lehrer in Großbritannien, Frankreich, China, Tibet und Madagaskar unterrichtet und ausgebildet und weltweit Workshops und Kurse für Lehrer geleitet. Derzeit ist sie Senior Lecturer an der School of English and Applied Linguistics am Unitec in Auckland, Neuseeland.
