Ein wunderbares Zeitdokument, und gleichzeitig eine tolle Geschichte, wenn auch traurig. Bin trotzdem sehr froh es gelesen zu haben. Als Roman zu lesen, beinhaltet trotzdem Originalbriefe und -photos.
Leider ziemlich flach und vorhersehbar.
I enjoyed this book a great deal! It is about people of different social classes and how they interact with each other. Witty and funny too. I just deducted one star, since sometimes it was a tad difficult with the many names, but maybe I am just spoiled, and books were just written like that back then. It was her first book too. Recommendation. I have the same issue, and it is still printed from an old setting, you'll see it at the font (easily readable and has a charm!).
A lovely piece of fiction. Written in the letters of three young women from different backgrounds, we learn about their lives, relationships and thoughts. A joy read, and still touches serious topics.
