The alpine summits captured in photographer Walter Niedermayr's works are neither picturesque nor scenic but instead overrun by the products of mass tourism -- ski lifts, mountaintop cafes, etc. The result is a sense of disorientation, in which the artificial markings of people have changed the scenery perhaps irrevocably.
