24 Künstler hinterfragen die Wirklichkeit: was gibt es jenseits der Realität? Wo sind die Grenzen des Wirklichen und wie werden sie definiert? Die Publikation erscheint anlässlich einer Gruppenausstellung im Swiss Institute in New York (5. März bis 11. Mai 2003). With 'Extra', twenty-eight artists have come together, joined by critics, curators and physicists, to expose the depth and complexity of reality in a grand collaboration. Each artist has contributed an original visual essay in full color. Their images are complimented by several fascinating texts. David Deutsch and Seth Lloyd, quantum physicists, deliver a passionate round of 'Brain Tennis' in their correspondence discussing the concept of multiple universes. Marc-Olivier Wahler's text about gliding through the folds of reality is an intricate companion to his exhibition 'Extra'.
