Euro-English: Assessing Variety Status is the first book on the controversial topic of whether Continental Europe is developing its own endonormative variety of English. Apart from giving a detailed overview over the debate so far and relevant theoretical background, the book also offers the first empirical results on the variety status of English in Europe.
