On the move and being transformed, people and knowledge, like ideas and institutions, traverse the globe and evolve. This classic issue in Comparative Education has a contemporary interpretation shaped by the overarching discourse of globalization, which is often cited as the cause of current movements. New terminologies have emerged to describe social processes involved, such as time-space compression, globalisation, transnational identities, and post-colonialities, along with various catchphrases that saturate discussions. Assertions about educational prospects stemming from these processes suggest advancements in e-learning, innovative knowledge management, and enhanced skill-formation systems.
