Proceedings for the 2008 Euro-Asia Conference on Environment and Corporate Social Responsibility: Tourism, MICE and Management Technique Session

At present, the global tourism industry develops rapidly and shows a clear tendency to become a pillar sector in global economy. In order to promote responsible and sustainable tourism management, „The Euro-Asia conference on Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management - the Tourism, MICE and Management Technique session“ was held in Tianjin P. R. China. The conference was jointly organized by the IMRE program of TU Bergakademie Freiberg from Germany; and the Tourism Management College of Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, from China. As the proceedings of the conference, this book contributes to academic literature by presenting recent research findings of more than 20 researchers in tourism and MICE management. Papers in the book discuss international tourism management from the perspectives of tourism education, hospitality management, human resource management, supply chain management, EMA, CSR and corporate social responsibility.
