Design methodologies for hardware accelerated heterogenous computing systems

Abstract In this work I investigate how design concepts and methodologies from the embedded domain can help to increase the efficiency of date centers. From the example of option pricing as one specific HPC application I derive the cross-disciplinary design space that covers both the implementation and algorithmic area.
