Growing up in the idyllic Upper Palatinate, the young Karl Regnat experienced an environment that was characterised by hard agricultural work and modest living conditions. Even from a very early age he wanted to go far intellectually. He built model airplanes and wanted to make a career in the field of aircraft engineering, but sadly he had neither sufficient money nor the school grades required. Taking the painstaking path from a mechanical apprentice to a skilled worker and via vocational college, he finally managed in the post-war years to become an aircraft constructor. But by no means had he reached the goal of his career in research, development and invention. As an idealist he now turned his thoughts from the orbital glider “Hermes” up to the stars of outer space and to God. In his third book, Karl Regnat devises the world’s eight best revolutions for the optimum life and work of humans on Earth, and vehemently demands their introduction by 2100.
