‘Never’ is the title of the first monographic publication of the highly acclaimed Hong Kong born artist Lee Kit. Accompanying his first museum exhibitions in the US (Walker Art Center, Minneapolis) as well as in Europe (S. M. A. K., Ghent) the volume contains contributions by Hu Fang, Anthony Yung, Philippe Van Cauteren, as well as conversation by the artist with Olga Viso and Misa Jeffereis. The book was designed by Kim Beirnaert (Ghent). Before his concomitant museum presentations Lee Kit was representing Hong Kong at the Venice Biennial (2013) and was nominated for the Hugo Boss Asia Award (2013). In 2012 he won the Art Future Award Hong Kong. His work has been widely presented internationally, in exhibitions such as at the Sharjah Biennial (2015), The Ungovernables (New Museum, New York, 2012), at the Minsheng Art Museum Shanghai (2012) or in the Para Art Space Hong Kong (2007).
