50/50

The artist‘s book „50/50“ is a book project by the sculptor and graphic artist Vaclav Pozarek (*1940 in Budweis, Czechoslovakia, today Czech Republic), who moves in his oeuvre with „precise autonomy“ between minimalism and conceptual art. The book is published in Wiens Verlag as part of the exhibition „HOH“ at Galerie Barbara Wien in September 2017. Pozarek: „This is like a flipbook, but big. You can not really use it as a flipbook because it is too big. But it has this background. Then it is printed in this red-brown color 484, the Patone-number. It starts with an area of ​​25 millimeters in diameter and then there is progression.“ „50/50“ is part of the multitude of Pozarek-books and catalogs, which he mostly designs himself and which are an important part of his work.
